I will be 49 years old next month. Lately, I’ve been doing a lot of soulsearching. I find myself wondering, “Am I all that I can be?”
First and foremost, I am a wife and mother. I have been happily married to my husband for 24 years (we’re celebrating our silver anniversary this October!) and we have three beautiful daughters. Our oldest daughter is getting married this November to a wonderful young man. I couldn’t be happier.
I have a career that I love. While I am publisher of Camden County Woman, I also represent Burlington County and Mercer County Woman Newspapers. It’s a lot of hard work (and fortunately, I don’t require a lot of sleep) but the personal and professional satisfaction that I receive from the work I do, far outweighs the negatives. But still I wonder, “Am I achieving all that I am capable of? Am I being the best person I can be?”
September is Self- Improvement Month. What a great time for all of us to stop and reflect on our life goals. Whether your goal is to improve your health, increase your energy, meet new people or start on a new career path…there’s no better time than the present! In this issue of Camden County Woman, you will find a number of enlightening workshops and seminars taking place in your local community that can help you be all that you can be!
