Women’s Health Initiative: Diabetes Awareness

You’ve finally accepted that summer has become a distant memory. You’ve regretfully put away all your open-toe shoes. And you survived the first few months of school with its Back to School Nights, PTA meetings, teacher conferences and school fundraisers. You finally feel in control, but then it arrives: Holiday Season. The holidays offer us many joyous and memorable moments with our families and friends, but they also bring with them an entirely new set of challenges as your To-Do list grows. Since many of us now care for or coordinate care for our ill or aging parents, the “To-do list” seems to never end. Not to mention all of those parents – and sons and daughters, husbands and wives – who are affected by diabetes in this country. Stress can build as we try to accomplish every task to keep our families healthy and happy.

Take a Deep Breath.

Sterling Medical Services is here to help, our goal is to make your life easier and reduce the stress of obtaining your family’s medical supplies. Sterling is based in Moorestown, NJ and is a national mail order provider of diabetic, incontinence, ostomy, urological and wound care supplies. We eliminate unnecessary trips to the store. So you can scratch off “order family’s medical supplies” from you your To-Do list!

One of Sterling’s goals is to promote Diabetic Awareness in its local communities. Recent studies indicate that the early detection of diabetic symptoms and treatment can decrease the chance of developing the complications of diabetes.

Some of the Common Symptoms of the disease are:
