Outstanding Woman – Glori Gayster |

After 12 years of working in corporate America, Glori Gayster was ready to go it alone. The first project for her fledgling company was itself: GDG Consulting, Inc. a full-service marketing, communications, and design firm.
To make it happen, Glori operated at breakneck speed, providing strategic planning, traditional and interactive design, project management and public relations for small and mid-sized companies in a one-stop operation. As Principal, she involved herself in all facets of the business – from the firm’s strategic planning and business development to its day-to-day operations and client relations.
And it worked. Between 2005 and 2007, the company's sales grew 117 percent. Last year, GDG Consulting, Inc. was named one of the 25 fastest growing private companies in South Jersey by the Philadelphia Business Journal and the Rohrer College of Business at Rowan University.
GDG Consulting’s South Jersey clients include Markeim-Chalmers, Inc., Joe Canal’s Discount Liquor Outlet of Delran, Classic Cake, and Gibraltar Construction Corporation. Her agency has also represented the University of Pennsylvania’s Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts and Mann Center for the Performing Arts, both in Philadelphia.
In her spare time, Glori applies her marketing expertise pro bono to causes such as “Teal Talk on Tour” and “An Evening with Friends and Fashion” to educate women about the signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer and “Band Together for Survival”, a live benefit concert dedicated to increasing awareness of breast cancer issues, especially the importance of early detection. While a board member at the Betty and Milton Katz Jewish Community Center in Cherry Hill, Glori also contributed time to special events and programs to benefit the organization’s fundraising efforts in support of the community and cause at large.
