St. Andrew’s Nursery School & Kindergarten (www.SaintAndrewsNurserySchoolAndKindergarten.com) located on Route 70, next to Ponzio’s Diner in Cherry Hill, announces their newest program for two year olds – MOTHER’S MORNING OUT!!
  
The school, voted a winner as the Best Nursery School in South Jersey by The Inquirer and Courier Post (8 years), began as an outreach of the church in 1966 and continues to provide for children a warm and nurturing environment in which to explore and be creative.

Mother’s Morning Out is limited to only ten children who indicate a readiness to benefit from a group experience.

One morning each week, from 9 – 11:30 AM, three teachers guide the children through a wide range of activities that include creative crafts (fine motor development), imaginative play (socialization and language development), gymnasium and playground experiences (gross motor development) and stories and songs (listening skills and increased attention span).  All of these skills are strengthened through play and hands-on experiences.

For many toddlers, the program at St. Andrew’s is their first opportunity to meet and make friends, share, take turns, experience early school routines and separate from Mom or Dad!  The atmosphere in the Mother’s Morning Out classroom is one that is warm and accepting.  The children have fun being together, but above all, they develop a positive attitude about themselves, which is developmentally imperative at this stage in a child’s life.

According to the school’s director, Mrs. Jill Mayo (M.Ed.), “St. Andrew’s offers a well-rounded program with many more certified teachers than the state requires and we keep the number of children in each class less than the state permits. These two factors ensure that the children receive necessary and valuable one-on-one attention.”

In addition to the Mother’s Morning Out program, St. Andrew’s offers Parent Toddler (18-35 months with an adult), Transitional Kindergarten (5 years), Kindergarten Enrichment (5-6 years) and Nursery School Classes (2.5 - 4 years).
