Outstanding Woman – Krisden McCrink

Krisden McCrink is a senior partner with the law firm of McCrink, Kehler & McCrink, located in West Berlin. She currently serves as Municipal Judge for the Township of Waterford and Conflicts Solicitor for Delran Township’s Planning and Zoning Boards. Prior to her judgeship, she was the appointed prosecutor, public defender and/or land use solicitor in six townships in Camden and Burlington counties. In addition, Krisden teaches at the South Jersey Professional School of Business.

Krisden aspired to be a lawyer since the second grade. She attended Lenape High School and earned the rank of “Best Speaker” in the South Jersey Debate League.  Thereafter, she attended Rutgers University in Camden and received a scholarship to Rutgers Law School after graduating summa cum laude.

While in law school, Krisden co-founded Camden Outreach and was elected Vice President of the Student Bar.

Beginning in 1998, Krisden volunteered as a crisis counselor through Contact Community Services. She provided addictions information through Ala-Call for many years. Krisden is also a co-trustee for the Julia T, LLC which benefits disadvantaged persons.  She was elected as a County Committee woman in 1996 and was a member of the Camden County Commission for Women from 1998 until her judicial appointment. She currently belongs to a number of community organizations. Community service should be imperative according to Krisden, as it broadens one’s horizons and education while simultaneously offering assistance to those who need it.

Despite her hectic schedule, she still sets aside time to focus on personal priorities — maintaining a good home life with her family, friends and dog as well as running, working out, sewing and reading. But she’s still not particularly fond of cleaning.
